go and live a little

SOOOO hi. Today's topic (as if I was even organized enough to create a topic) is adventure and living. In other words, I'm going to Costa Rica! I'm so excited. I am planning on writing  a lot of stories, and taking many pictures so that I'll actually have something really interesting to post (for a change).

I've been really cranky these past few days, so I'm really sorry that there is no humour whatsoever in my posts at the moment. I need to start learning about the science of sleeping in.

I also wanted to tell you about a few of the books I've been reading lately. First, there is the Mortal Instruments series, which are really, really good- mostly because it's your ideal romantic scenario: an ordinary girl named Clary discovers three teenagers (two boys, one girl) killing a demon disguised as another teenager. Right away, she is drawn into the world of the Shadowhunters- those who kill demons (and have creepy tatoos all over themselves). One of the boys, Jace, is really handsome (according to the book- in the movie, not so much), and quickly falls in love with Clary. You probably know the rest.

Another great book is The Screaming Staircase, which is about three teenagers who kill ghosts for a living. If I say anything else, I'll probably completely ruin the book for you, so I've decided to keep my mouth shut on this one.

I just noticed- I'm really into books about teenagers killing nonexistent creatures these days.

kiwis mounted up in a pile

Hey! I'm starting to figure out that I really enjoy having a more visual blog. Let's be honest here, but almost nobody ever actually reads a post- most people just look at all the pictures.

I decided to learn how to use Photoshop, and I made my first computerized collage. It's kind of basic, but I'm planning on only getting better! The girl that is shown three times is Cara Delevigne, a supermodel. I thought the pictures just fit in sort of nicely, so I added them.
